Google is upping its game for gamers, now including video game information in its knowledge graph.

Search queries on video games will result in a knowledge graph panel that includes details like the game’s release date, supported platforms, developers, review scores and more.

In a report on Venture Beat yesterday, a Google spokesperson confirmed the video game additions to the site’s knowledge graph.
With today’s update, you can ask questions about video games, and (while there will be ones we don’t cover) you’ll get answers for console and PC games as well as the most popular mobile apps.

Google Spokesperson
Venture Beat claimed the update isn’t specific to the U.S. search results, but available in multiple countries on mobile and desktop searches.
